Don't Hurt New Born Baby's!!

I totally agree with my classmate making abortion illegal in Texas. I think that is a women decision on making the choice of having the baby or not. I cannot imagine anyone who could be okay with doing that to another human. Then, think of that poor child, if they are not given up for adoption, they probably could never be fully loved by their mother because of the trauma the mother suffered. Then the guilt the child must feel and the scaring of being the product of such a heinous crime. For example, my aunt was going to abort my little cousin because she was not ready to have a little baby. My aunt Daisy was 17 years old when she became pregnant. She just wanted to party and party all the time. However, that’s why there’s protection so the boy or girl can have protected sex and not make a little baby pay the price. I do not believe this is an easy decision for most women to make, but in the end it should be their decision and not the state governments.

Therefore, the other thing that I didn’t agree with was that they are trying to push religious beliefs and care to people. They are trying to brainwash people by saying that abortion is good and that it causes to much problems in families. I personally disagree I am religious and I think positive. A baby is born because the husband and wife want to have a kid and their going to be responsible for it.

Therefore, if the women don’t want to take care of her baby they can give it for adoption there’s a lot of tons of families that want a kid. Therefore, theirs always a problem with the couple that they can have kids of any circumstances. I think that a baby is a cute thing to have and see it born. For example, I think too many abortions are a result of a woman's irresponsibility, ignorance, or stupidity. These women should not be allowed to have sex in the first place, but seeing as how there's no possible way we can prevent this we can at least keep the baby from being punished by eliminating abortions in Texas all together.r example, when a baby is always born I see it always like I am getting reborn.

Finally, I think I firmly believe that an abortion of any type is murder and should be against the law. I know that one of the major debates is when does a human life begin, and I believe that it's when the baby is conceived. As soon as pregnancy comes to fruition the baby is going to be a human life and killing it before one believes it has life, whether that is true or not, is still murdering a future life.

Avoid Smoking??

Texas should ban smoking inside public buildings. Therefore, in September 1, 2005 the smoking ban law was passed. The law was banning smoking in all public buildings and within 15 feet of all entrances to public buildings. This includes bars, billiard halls, restaurants and bowling alleys. A fine of $2,000 could be applied to anyone violating the ordinance.

I personally agree that there should be no smoking inside public buildings. I hate the smell of it and second hand smoke is so dangerous to individuals. I have been surrounded all my life by people that smoke everyday. When I always got to my house I had that smell already penetrated in my clothes and body. I can tell and smell a smoker from their eyes. I don’t feel the liberty of people inhaling the smoke to their bodies. That’s why I’m never going to smoke in my life. People should not harm themselves and other people at all.Meanwhile, I remember one day when I was coming home from school. I saw a little young lady smoking a cigarette she was like 12 years old. Daisy was in my chemistry class, she was a really smart girl and had really good grades. When I saw Daisy smoking I told her “what you think smoking is really cool for your body?” and she responded that "I feel like I am at the moon". So I told her that she was harming her self and her body. That same day that I saw her she was taken to the hospital for emergency. Her mom said to the news that "her little daughter Daisy had smoked two packages of cigar rates in one day. The smart little girl had asthma and had a lot of hearth attacks because she was inhaling to much drug. All the smoke that she was inhaling caused her death. This is a really good example of my friend Daisy, of what cigarettes can caused you to do in life.

However, the opponents of the smoking ban see that smoking cigarettes in public places is a really good thing to do. Therefore, the people think that smoking in any public place is a fun thing and each business have their own private place to smoke. That nobody is telling people to go where a smoker is at and chill with them and inhaling the second hand smoke.. Everybody says that this is a "free country" and we can do whatever we want. Therefore, establishments with children or the elderly should have an area blocked off for smokers, if they want. People believe that business should run like it did decades ago, and not letting government interfere. Meanwhile, smoking is not a illegal drug and that we can smoked it.

Finally, I think that smoking is not a good idea your just harming yourself and your body. Cigarettes can caused you a lot of things, for example, cancer, asthma, blindness, hearth attacks, and much more. I respect your right to kill yourself smoking, but please do not kill me or one of my family members. Therefore, if they are harming others as well as themselves it is no longer an act of a freedom country.

Encourage students to be in Top 10%!!!

The state of Texas should continue the use of the top 10% college admission. The Texas House Bill 588 was passed in 1997. This law guarantees Texas students who graduated in the top 10% percent of their high school class automatic admission to all state universities. I disagree with my classmate about letting the top 10% rule to be over. I think that for the top 10% students they need to have that really good GPA, have a direct pass to the university, and have the poor a better chance to attend a college. This would help a lot of students and encourage them to put a lot of effort on them so they can reach that top 10% so they can have a better chance to choose what university they would love to go to.

Therefore, to be in the top 10% of your class you need to have that good grade point average and good attendance. All the students in High School challenge themselves to be in the top 10% so they can enter to a university automatically. This would help the student to open there mind and to see who can do netter than the other person. It wont worry any top 10% student to enter a university. They would have to be proud of themselves by entering a university and that hard work that they put in was worth it. They would just have to worry about to fill in the application and send it to the university. Being in the top 10% would help a lot of students to survive and not concerning them about what percentage they need to get in the SAT scores they would have that acceptance in the university automatically. Its a lot of work to be in your top 10% in your class but if you put that effort and study for your tests, turn in work on time and get good grades you would be satisfy with yourself and being in your top 10% of your class.

When I was in High School I had the same experience at the end of my freshman year my GPA was really low it was a 2.8. So then I decided in my sophomore year to start and challenging myself to take harder classes and raise my GPA even higher. I study my ass of doing homework, studying for tests and doing good in school. Therefore, at the end of my sophomore and junior year my GPA was at 3.6. I was so proud of myself because all the hard work I put on it paid off at last. So I ended my high school year in the top 7% of my class.

As a student you just need to have those really good grades and compete with your friends to stay in that top 10% and to enter any college in the future. It would help a lot of parents that they see their child in a college and be so proud of them that they did a really good thing of raising a good child to go to school. It would encourage all students to be in the top 10% so they wont be doing that extra work to enter to a university or college.

Future in the top 10%

The state of Texas should continue the use of the top 10% college admission Bill 588 because it would help a lot of students to enter to a university automatically. For the top 10% students they need to have that really good GPA, have a direct pass to the university, and have the poor a better chance to attend a college. This would help a lot of students and encourage them to put a lot of effort on them so they can reach that top 10% so they can have a better chance to choose what university they would love to go to.

To be in the top 10% of your class you need to have that good grade point average and good attendance. All the students in High School challenge themselves to be in the top 10% so they can enter to a university automatically. This would help the student to open there mind and to see who can do netter than the other person. It wont worry any top 10% student to enter a university. They would have to be proud pf themselves by entering a university and that hard work that they put in was worth it. They would just have to worry about to fill in the application and send it to the university. Being in the top 10% would help a lot of students to survive and not concerning g them about what percentage they need to get in the Sat scores they would have that acceptance in the university automatically. Its a lot of work to be in your top 10% in your class but if you put that effort and study for your tests, turn in work on time and get good grades you would be satisfy with yourself and being in your top 10% of your class.

The other thing is that the bill gives the poor and racial minorities a better chance to attend a college. The students would now go to a university or college with different racial ethnicities. The Texas bill should continue using the top 10% college admission so al the smart students enter a college automatically. It would matter that a good smart student to obtain a good future in a university and reach that goal to be someone in life in the future. This top 10% program would provide grants and scholarships to students that are in the top 10%. It won’t matter what kind of race ethnicity your in it only matters that you would enter any university that you want to go in Texas. It would help a lot of students to decide what college they want to go to.

However, the opponents say that the law should be taken off the Texas Constitution. The law has been blamed for keeping students not in the top ten percent but with other credentials, such as high SAT scores or leadership and extracurricular experience, out of the large state universities. The Texas Constitution should give credit for those students that are in the top twenty percent of their class as well. For example, their hard work, high SAT scores, high grades, leadership, etc. Therefore, any student that graduated from high school should go to a university and be accepted.

The State of Texas should continue to use the top 10% college admission policy of vill 388 because it would help a lot of students in the future to enter to any college they want in Texas. As a student you just need to have those really good grades and compete with your friends to stay in that top10% and to enter any college in the future. It would help a lot of parents that they see their child in a college and be so proud of them that they did a really good thing of raising a good child to go to school. It would encourage all students to be in the top 10% so they wont be doing that extra work to enter to a university or college.

A tougher policy for illegal immigrants

The U.S border is aiming a tougher policy in illegal immigrants. The U.S border patrol aimed at prosecuting more illegal immigrants is being expanded to include parts of far West Texas and southern New Mexico. I personality think that they should not put restrictions on illegal immigrants trying to attempt to cross the border. A lot of people risk their lives just to have a better life looking for the “American Dream.” The government should worry about giving the illegal immigrants a reform or visa.

Therefore, Mosier said, “In either case, the illegal immigrants will be barred from legally entering the U.S. for up to five years and would face felony charges if they try to cross illegally again.” The immigrants would take any risk for a better life. They’re not going to harm anybody. They just want a better life, to support their families. The immigrants are still going to come anyways to the U.S no matter what if they put them in jail or throw them to their country.
The enforcement operations have been credited with drops in illegal immigrant arrests. But illegal crossers are simply using more dangerous and remote stretches of the border. Unfortunately, many immigrants are so desperate that they will risk their lives. This would cause more problems with immigrants and the border patrols. The immigrants are going to find away to come to the U.S.

Therefore, I think that today, immigrants are lucky to cross the border. What's the difference between them and us, we're both human beings, coming to this place looking for a better way of life, so why we do not get treated the same way. People think that we only come to the United States to make things worst for them and limit their future; they do not see the contributions that immigrants make to this country. Immigrants should be respected as any human being that lives in the United States. Everybody comes to America for one purpose for a better life. This a interesting article to read about it shows you how the border patrols are stopping imigrants to come over here. But the immigrants are always going to find a away to get here.

Finally, I believe that immigrants should be legalized, so they can go back to their country, also because, immigrants not also have the right, but because they have earned it, and should be treated equally, since this is a free country of equal rights.

Virtual Fence

The U.S. gives a final OK to 'virtual fence' on Arizona border. I personally think that they should not put any fence, radars, or surveillance cameras to try to catch immigrants entering the country illegally. A lot of people risk their lives just to have a better life looking for the “American Dream.” Immigrants get so desperate to see their family members struggle, so then they decide to come to this country. The immigrants would take any risk for a better life. They’re not going to harm anybody. They just want a better life, to support their families. Illegal immigrants that come to this country do it to find a better life for them and their families, because back in their foreign countries there are not enough job opportunities.

The government paid Boeing $15 million of its initial $20 million contract before determining that there were glitches in the test project. The department gave a conditional acceptance in December. The government is spending a lot of money on building a virtual fence that is not even going to work at all. The illegal immigrants are going to find away to cross the fence no matter what. Immigrating to the United States is not as easy as it sounds; immigrants from Mexico have to cross the Rio Grande River, which is a very dangerous river where many people have died; if they are lucky to make it across the river, they will have to walk hundreds of miles in the desert, suffering hunger, thirst, and cold nights. Many times they get sick and die at the dessert, leaving their family at Mexico even worst. Other times they get caught when they're about to make it across the border, but they will keep trying, until they make it. Unfortunately, many immigrants are so desperate that they will risk their lives.

Therefore, I think that today, Mexican immigrants are lucky to cross the boarder without being shot. What's the difference between them and us, we're both human beings, coming to this place looking for a better way of life, so why we do not get treated the same way. People think that we only come to the United States to make things worst for them and limit their future; they do not see the contributions that immigrants make to this country. Immigrants

This is an important article to read because it tells you how many immigrants come to this country and suffer just to come for a better life.Immigrants play a huge role in the population of the United States. The U.S. is looked at, as a place for a new start and a place to begin a new life. Mexico and other foreign country have no resident Islamic community, no known terrorist cells, and has never been a launching pad for terrorist attacks on the United States. European immigrants are given a job, shelter, and food also is granted citizenship and voting privileges.

Today, Mexican immigrants are lucky to cross the boarder without being shot. What's the difference between them and us, we're both human beings, coming to this place looking for a better way of life, so why we do not get treated the same way. People think that we only come to the United States to make things worst for them and limit their future; they do not see the contributions that immigrants make to this country. Immigration between the United States and Mexico is something that can not be stopped, since each country has its own economy, one better than the other. Mexico is not a rich country; most of the people in Mexico suffer economical issues. Mexicans only see their solution immigrating to the United States.

Immigrating to the United States is not as easy as it sounds; immigrants from Mexico have to cross the Rio Grande river, which is a very dangerous river where many people have died; if there lucky and make it across the river, they will have to walk hundreds of miles in the dessert, suffering hungry, thirst, and cold nights. Other times they get caught when they are about to make it across the border, but they will keep trying, until they make it.
